These terms govern your use of The Crafted Persona ("the Platform"), operated by The Crafted Persona (Pty) Ltd ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
The Crafted Persona is a premium professional portrait platform using Algorithmic Image Enhancement (Digital Twin Photography). You upload selfie photographs, and we produce professional images including headshots, full-body portraits, and executive scene compositions. The service is delivered digitally - no physical products are shipped.

Prices shown in USD and South African Rand (ZAR). ZAR includes VAT where applicable. International customers pay in USD via PayPal; SA customers pay in ZAR via PayFast.
Each tier guarantees a minimum number of professional-quality images ("keepers"). If our automated quality check produces fewer keepers than guaranteed, we will automatically regenerate images to meet the contracted count. If we cannot meet the guaranteed count after regeneration, you are entitled to a full refund.
All images produced by The Crafted Persona are created through Algorithmic Image Enhancement (Digital Twin Photography) — a computational image production process rather than camera photography. While the images are photorealistic and commercially usable, they are algorithmically produced. If a platform, publication, or industry standard requires you to disclose the production method (sometimes referred to as "AI-generated content" in platform policies), you should do so in accordance with that platform's rules.

We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation times are estimates (typically ~1 hour) and may vary based on demand. If your order fails due to a system error, we will either re-process your order or issue a full refund.
Download links expire 7 days after delivery. You are responsible for downloading your images within this period. After expiry, images are permanently deleted from our servers in compliance with POPIA data minimisation principles. We cannot recover expired images.
Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, storage, retention, and your rights under POPIA.
The Crafted Persona's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for your order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. This does not affect your statutory rights under South African consumer protection law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.
We may update these terms as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
